Hello Atalantars!
Saturday was our first Garden Work Party! I think it was quite successful, and all the work was done before the big winds came out! We accomplished many things- including preparing different beds with manure, de-weeding beds to get ready to plant, cleaning up the asparagus bed, digging more holes for bushes, preparing the chicken coop, and laying down mulch in the lilacs. Also, we started work and finalized a master plan for where things will be planted and grown this year in the garden. After all this hard work, we found it was time to eat! We sat down to a nice lunch in the greenhouse, with soup, goat milk from our goats, homemade goat cheese, and sparking conversation! All in all, it was a great day! Don’t miss our next garden work party!!
